I've had my SC430 for four months and have never gotten the voice recognition to work. If I say, for instance, "restaurants", then randomly the voice will say "ski resorts now showing" or "coffee house now showing". I really don't have a real need for the voice recognition but since I paid for it then it should work. Is there something I'm doing wrong? My 5K service is coming up and I guess I'll ask the dealer if none of you has the answer.

 

ummm.... i am just curious (not trying to offend you), but did you try to say it out loud and clear? i use the voice commands from time to time and it's been pretty accurate.

otherwise you should definitely have it checked out

 

I too have had problems time to time with it recognizing my voice. The trick is learning how it expects you to say the words and knowing what words it is trained to listen for. Too bad there is NOT a training mode so it could learn how we want to say the words.
