Another storage idea

1963 TBirds had this option to cover the back seat and give
more storage. Looks like some interprising fiberglass shop
could make this, for our cars, at a low cost.

Looks nice but looks like it would be an inconvenience when you put the top up? Physically have to remove it, put the cover on it and then try to store it in a trunk that barely exhists now???Just my 2 cents.
Ugh. That addition makes a fairly unattractive (and I think discontinued) car look very ungainly, and would appear to be a real pain to move around.
A genuine tonneau cover should be canvas and might as well have a zipper down the middle to leave the passenger seat covered when not in use. I had that kind of a deal with my TR6 back in 1971, and it was a lot of fun.
