Default Extra storage

Looking for ideas on increasing storage. How 'bout a cover that fits over the back seats with a zipper top? Anyone seen one?

There's a cruising shelf available for Toyota Soarer Japanese equivalent of SC430 in Japan :

I think it's available from Carson Toyota Parts for $900+ ? According to This Thread

Default "Cruising Shelf" for SC 430

Search Forums for "Cruising Shelf" made in Japan for the Toyota Soarer aka Lexus SC430.

Also see: http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?=26

Also see old thread resurrected on June 22, 2005 entitled "Must-Have SC 430 Accessory"

I, too, am interested if anyone has actually obtained the "cruising shelf" for the SC 430 and their comments on same

Default Cruising Shelf

Interesting product but too expensive for holding a small bag.

A tonneau cover using the back of the front seats as the ‘door’ would provide much more space. Looks like a trip to a custom upholstery shop might brew more ideas.

I did a search and found a Roadster Tonneau for newer TBirds.
http://www.thunderbirdconcepts.com/roadster.htm
1963 TBirds had this option to cover the back seat.
Looks like some interprising fiberglass shop could make this.
