Looks like the update will be fairly minor: a new front bumper, new front headlights, new grille (6 slats instead of 5), new orange-less taillights, and new wheels (finally). From what I can tell, the rear bumper didn't change.

Anyone with connections want to set up a group buy for some headlights and taillights? It looks like they might be compatible.

Apparently it looks like the design approach of the '06 SC is similar to that of the current ('05) ES330. That is, newer projector style headlamps, new front bumper, new grille, new wheels, and updated tailights. I wonder if the SC tails are going to be LED's like in the new GS and ES?

Glad the facelift is subtle New wheels are better than the old pie plates & 5 spoke covers, but I was hoping it would be better still . . .

From what I see it also gets 6 speed tranny.

Yes, it did say 6 speed, & that's expected, they should' ve introduced that for 05 (just ask Henry )

I like the current headlights better. Still the changes are subtle enough to still look good in a slightly different way.

The rims Aahhhhh... I think Lexus needs a new Rim/wheel design team for the SC. LOL

anyway, great find! this is some good news, the face lift isn't that much compared to the old one.

the new front bumper looks cleaner imho with less slats at the bottom. the new grille is ok, one more slat but not dramatic change. i can stay with mine

the taillight is interesting, i wonder if they ar led. cant' tell from teh pics of course. if it's led and if it's a direct swap, man i think we all would be looking at it seems like the shape is diret swap.

the wheels definitely look soooo much better than the current ones! i wonder why lexus hired to design wheels now, so much better on all models

and the headlights, gosh, i love them, at least from the pics!!!! i don't really like the current headlights coz' they are not taolly clear, the area beside the project and high beam they are all blurr glass and such. i always like clear headlights!!!!! i wonder if these would be direct swap to the old ones!!!!! if so, maybe i need to look into that!!!!!

This update is great.....give's the vehicle a more modern look. Does it say anything about the interior being revised?

btw, is that a new color combo?!?!?! or that's going to be the special edition for this yr again? kinda looks like the neiman marcus edition during the first yr. red interior with blackwood
