Can anyone comment on their experiences with the injen intake? Along the same lines does anyone know if the sc430 uses a mass airflow sensor?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the reply. I think my problem may be solved by the EMap site listed on another posting. I noticed the people who modified the engine had problems with the ecu's. I had an 87 Corvette with nitrous to compete against the grand nationals that never had a problem. Thought I'd try nitrous on this with a small 125hp shot. I can't stand these Subaru WRX's blowing by me.

I'm pretty sure you can bolt on the injen with no problems at all with the ecu? A few members here who haven't spoken up have the injen for sure and they say they have had no problems with it I believe. Usually intakes are pretty much just bolt on affairs, and as for the injen intake, the stock mas sensor just bolts up to the injen. I think what you mean is that the mas sensor might notice an increase in air because of a less restrictive intake, and then maybe void the gains of the intake by decreasing performance? Don't really know what i'm totally talking about here but, i'm sure a air/fuel converter like the apexi SAFC will help with that.
i'm gonna let someone with more knowledge take over
Thanks for the help. I located the sensor. My concern was placement of the N2O nozzle. I had to place it after the MAF on the intake. I'll let everyone know if I blow up the engine.

Weny
So your saying you've already hooked up the juice to the SC? hehe, wow thats sweeet!! Yeah make sure you tell us how it runs. Is is a wet or dry system? A 150 shot might be kinda high don't you think?
btw, How are you adding more fuel?
Cool, if everything works out fine for you, I might be next in line to try it!
I put the Zex wet system in. It goes up to 125 hp. I'll try the 75hp shot first. I'm waiting on my MSD ignition to come in to retard the timing. I'm also installing a hyper ground system to help the spark. I'll let you know how it goes.
