They are great. I love them. Absolutely transformed the car.

Communicating with them reminded me of conversations with my 15 year old son. We used to call it 20 questions. Ask a question, get a one word answer. Nothing volunteered. Next question....

I finally badgered the Figs guy into sending me an installation manual for a similar product. That was helpful, but all this could have easily been handled in a 20 minute phone call. Instead we got to play email tag for the better part of a day.

So,

The parts showed up a couple of days before Christmas. Very nicely packaged, very high quality parts. And still, not a shred of documentation.

Yesterday I went by an auto repair place to see if they would install them. After a bit of a discussion with one of the counter workers, the mechanic comes in and said they will install customer supplied parts in the event that a non-factory part is indicated. He said that Chargers have the same rear alignment issues and there are aftermarket solutions for that as well.

So, they did their magic to price it out, and it was $1,250 to install 2 LCA's and 2 toe arms.

My guess is this was a "go away and don't bother us" price. So I'll mount the parts when it warms up a bit.

Happy New Year to all!

And you'll document it for us, right?

Good luck for when the time comes.

Absolutely.

Based on the coil overs, it's not difficult.

Getting a basic alignment so I can get the car to a shop for for a real alignment will prolly be the biggest hurdle.

Cheers

So,

My son was able to come over this weekend and we installed the LCA's and toe arms. Nothing too difficult. The new bushings can be a tight fit but grease is included to help. The mounting point for the passenger side toe arm was pretty wonky. It took a few minutes to get it where the bushing would go in.

So now to get it aligned.

Cheers

My entire Front End Kit should be getting installed later this month. I also added the Front Sway bar kit.

Did you increase the diameter of the sway bar?

Well,

Got the alignment done. It's within the specs. That's the positive. Would have liked a little less negative camber, but so be it.

Glad to close this chapter in the life of Scarlet.

cheers,

Others contemplating a suspension refresh might benefit from my old write up.
Never chosen to be a sticky thread, but probably as detailed as you will ever find.

Great Thread write up!!

I will put this in the Sticky Threads, when I get home if that’s okay with you.

What’s your mileage at now… 4 yrs later and how has your suspension been? Any issues or helpful info worth noting since your refresh? Completely happy — no regrets?

Would be honored to have it stickied. 275,000 miles and that refresh made all the miles since the suspension upgrade MUCH more enjoyable.
