Out of the blue, my 07 SC VSC along with traction control and check engine lights all flashing. Turned off engine and restarted few time, still flashing. I said to myself, it's time to hook up TechStream. Then an idea just popped in my head, why not disconnect the battery first to see if it helped. So I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes, then reconnected. Whoala, the flashing lights went away. It has been few days and the lights still off.
I had no idea what caused the lights came on and flashing. Just want to share with you giys.
That's great you cleared the flashing, but I think I would have liked to know what caused it first.
I have a $13 scanner that is MUCH MUCH MUCH easier and faster than using a computer based diagnostic system. Of course a $13 scanner won't read ABS codes, just the generic codes that all cars use.
It's good to know disconnecting the battery fixed your electrical gremlin causing the trouble lights. These lights seem common in indicating a wide range of issues, unfortunately, your trouble remains a mystery. If it repeats or if you get any further clues as to the source of the issue, be sure to fill us in!

Thinking it back, I know what I did to cause the VSC flashing. I was looking for the way to build the hidden kill switch, so I pulled the no. 15, 16 and 17 fuses in the engine compartment driver side fuse box. These fuses are related to the fuel injection system but fuse no.16 fuse is also tied to traction control. I put the fuses back and it caused the VSC light flashed which was corrected by disconnecting the battery.
