Since the 25% tariffs on cars were announced, carvana said my value is up nicely. Coincidence or not?

Makes sense to me. Also seems like if you are even thinking of buying something on Amaya, now is the day to do it

These tariffs are being implemented far too fast. They should be incorporated slowly over the years progressing only a few percentage points per year. The trade war won't be good for anybody, especially consumers. I'm glad we bought my wife's ES 300h last year!

I saw a post from a broker saying that they are not seeing any hikes on cars just yet and most likely tariffs will be negotiated down in a few months. Toyota will prob eat the tariff and maybe raise pricing across the product line if they actually stick. We just have to wait it out and not panic or create a demand for products that are affected by tariffs.
