Default Heads up on LCD screen replacement

My OEM Nav screen blistered up from heat and was unreadable although worked. I bought a replacement screen from German Audio Tech that was supposed to be a new (it was clearly used) direct OEM replacement Toshiba P/N TFD70W23A was on the original and replacement. However, original had a glued-on glass touch screen over the LCD, the replacement came with a separate plastic digitizer screen. The digitizer had a 4-conductor ribbon connector (see pic) the original had no such connector. There is no place on the unit to connect. When I installed the LCD the display came up nicely but touch function, of course, did not so it stays on the introductory screen ("English, French, I agree not to..."). So back to the drawing board but out $200.
