I plan to change mine tomorrow, but I was watching a vid on youtube of this "mechanic" (who seems to know what hes doing) using super glue to hold the long rectangular gasket in place so it doesnt slip out when hes installing them should I do this or is this a big no no
Using super glue is very odd, why? If necessary dab a bit of RTV on the gasket but they usually stay in play by themselves. I guess the super glue will cook and evaporate, I think.
i believe its so the gasket stays in place when your installing it, because theres no way to see once its going back in, u'd have to feel all around the gasket to make sure a piece didnt pop out.
does anyone know what the small little circle things are for? its the only piece i seem to need and i dont know what they are, are they just washers? i was at the dealer and i needed to know... thanks

Reason: forgot to add something
i will be changing not the two blackgaskets shown but the ones underneath the highlighted red (2x) valve covers because thats where the oil is leaking from as well as the 8 spark plug gaskets that why, (btw im having ptsd from this image), i already changed those gasket by accident to a stupid feltpro which means i have to change those two to oem so much work....

Reason: to clarify
imagine replacing the starter for the first time sealing it all up and now realizing you installed the cheap gaskets not the oem ones which means you gotta rip everything out again and then put the proper gaskets in....
If it were me l'd vacuum out the leaves and debris and carefully inspect the knock sensor harness. I'd also inspect/replace the components of the ASIS system (vacuum solenoid, line, harness, and bottle) on the underneath side of intake manifold. The solenoid, vacuum line, and harness are the parts that I had to replace on my 2002 SC430. Might want to use a new gasket for the throttle body as well.
so guys today i started tackling changing the gaskets something that worried me though was almost all of the bolts holding the manifold down were loose like if i was determined enough i could take them off without tools. so besides that i had to take the battery box out to get to the last bolt and the last of the three is stripped or smashed I don't know what to do here seems simple but it stopped me in my tracks for 2 hrs then i gave up for the day. this is what stopped me from progressing this rusted damaged bolt from hell. any ideas on how to get it off without completely ripping the battery box out permanently? the normal 10mm wont grab not even a 9mm....
