Yeah found the part easy enough online... Funny how Lexus defaults to my local dealer for the part. Will probably pick up a pair and figure it out.
Man I hope that's $333 for a pair of shocks....
How can you tell if your shocks are leaking? I have a2005 with 57K i don't "think" the cars shocks are bad, it does shake when you go over bumps on the road. Here are some pics of the shocks on the front, but it would really like to know what is a sure way to determine the shocks are bad so i don't waste money if its not needed. I do have to guy new rotors and brakes(rear) according to Firestone last service for balancing the tires.

57k and you need new rear brake pads and rotors?
I would have someone other than Firestone have a look at it.

I'd be honest, there aren't many places I trust have the competency to really diagnose or work on cars in this area. That is including the Lexus Steelership in VA beach. As a matter of fact I had Priority do a service recently and they obviously didn't properly balance the wheels so I had to take it to Firestone. I don't even want to think about the quality of work they did when they do my other service, break and steering flush. I took some pics of the wheels after Firestone. They said both rear breaks and rotors are bad, front rotors are bad but breaks are good.
Any help would be appreciated, and save me some money.
In my little mind, the only reason to replace a rotor is if the thickness is below the manufacturers minimum. The rotors in the pictures don't look bad to me, but that's one man's opinion.
Unfortunately the pictures didn't show the brake pads, so I can't comment on their condition.

I bought mine on Lexus parts now and there was no mention of left or right struts. They were interchangeable from what I saw
I snapped a picture of the front Shocks, does it seem like they are leaking? Im not able to tell for sure. Maybe that is the reason it shakes the steering wheel when going over bumps on the road.

Yes, your strut is leaking. You can tell because there is a much darker ring on the top of the cylinder. The ring is there because the fluid leaked out of the top.
