Default Struts/shocks Life

We have a 2008 SC430 with 90,000 miles. Any opinions on whether shocks/struts might need replacing. No leaks noticed yet.

If it aint broke, dont fix it..... in my case, we replaced the struts/shocks at 109k miles, one was leaking and I decided to replace them all. The ball joint also needed replacing.
If it were me I would take the car to a suspension expert to examine the front suspension parts...tie rods, ball joints etc and shocks/struts for an inspection and if something surfaces, then repair them.
If you have money to spare and expect to keep the vehicle forever......go for it.

I replaced mine at 30k miles.

why? Their dampening curve and spring rate was terrible. Car bottomed on driveways and the too high low speed compression dampening caused the car to deflect off sharp bumps. The spring rate allowed too much body roll on twisty roads. Like a barge.

Replaced the stock shocks and springs with MeisterR CRD’s. Ended up full soft. Firm but not hard. The shorter springs eliminated almost all body roll.

I replaced the tires with 45 series Michelins for a ride quality improvement. In extremely aggressive ultra tight switchback road driving I get a small amount of body lean from the tires initially then it stops. Can be driven very aggressively after that on tight switchbacks. Banzai.
