Just bought this from Amazon on sale now at $14.25.
Tell us how it goes. It plays through a radio frequency on your radio.
However, in the past there would be interference from outside stations and the connection would drop out. I think it is because the FCC only allows a certain transmitting strength from units like the one you bought.
However, I have not tried one in more than a decade and at < $15 it is worth a shot.
That is probably why Gman recommends the cassette adapter. It is a for sure physical connection
Both FM transmitter and Cassette adapters are easy and cheap solutions, but the sound quality is usually not good, and there is an interference when using the FM transmitter.
Yes cassette doesn't sound good, poor audio quality, and you can't raise the volume at source too much, same with fm, you just lose the quality plus some times you get interference with other people's transmitters
