Question Exhaust

Can anyone recommend economical but good exhaust parts? Lexus and Zee sell “cat back” exhaust for $6,000 and Magna-Flo for $1,000. Can the magna-flow be any good? Any recommendations? I parked my SC 430 ‘08 with 100,000 mi outdoors and too close to sea water for five years…

I still love my Magnaflow catback system.

Beware it changes your SC430 from silent wallflower to deep voiced predator. It's lovely to hear the V8 rumble, but isn't too loud for an HOA controlled neighborhood.

Considering how much the magnaflow is now around $1000+ I wonder if it's just easier to get a magnaflow muffler and get a muffler shop to fab it up.

I want a valved muffler, so I can adjust the volume

Has any member had good experience with wear? Loud is not what iI need—it’s my daily driver.

If you are just looking for an inexpensive exhaust because your old one rusted out, you can try one of these cheap ones on eBay. They are bolt together, you can possibly do it yourself.

Depending what part needs to be replaced, one of these two kits might work.

Thanks, DD. But I don’t want to go too cheap, nor to depend on my limited skills (I managed to install a new radiator) for this job.

I thought about the obx ones but I think you have to cut your bumper to fit the quad tips or you have to cut them and replace back with single tips, and there's so sound clips of obx
