I just successfully installed a back up camera in my 2006 sC 430
i purchased a Navtool video interface box with wiring, NAVRGB3.0+TL10; $240 and their rear camera for $120
in order to install the interface stuff I had to remove much of the trunk lining, all work is in the trunk do not touch the dash
i mounted the camera between the 2 license plate lights and ran the video and power lines into the trunk
i removed the 3 mounting bolts on the nav box so I could rotate it enough to access the back in order to pull off one connector and install the Navtool connector in its place and plug the removed connector to the other end of the Navtool harness. I was amazed that the Navtool connector exactly connected to the rear of the nav box
i found the red wire that feeds the reversing lights and tapped it, I extended this to feed the camera power, reversing wire, Navtool power, and acc power. I could not find a separate 12v switched power, which is a better source
The sc430mods looks nice. Has any one actuallly installed it and use it?
I have had the SC430mods camera fitted since last year when it first came out and it works great. Very easy to fit as as only connects to the sat nav unit in the boot so you don’t have run any cables to the front or find a power source or tap into any reverse wires.
Nice! I hope it is back in stock soon. Do you still get the navigation disclaimer message after starting the car that makes you press “i agee” or can they bypass that?

From memory I am sure no warning sign comes up and as soon as you put it in reverse you see the camera
