I realize these are hard to come by, so I wanted to offer it for sale here first before trying Ebay. It comes with both books, leather case, and even the Lexus pen. I believe if you go to the Lexus website, and type in your VIN, they will send you this free, as long as you are a Lexus Owner.

Would that only apply to original owners? It seems hard to believe that anyone with a Lexus Vin# could just give it to Lexus and receive a free manual case with both books plus a pen.
aybe so, just doesn't seem right. I had a hard time finding this item and now Ive moved on to another vehicle and am trying to get back what I paid for it. They were hard to find when I began looking.

Yes, if you type in your VIN, it will be sent to whatever address the VIN is registered to (in other words, it never asked for my address or personal info, just the VIN so you have to be the actual owner of the car in order to get it- if not, the real owner will be getting a surprise in the mail on your behalf). I got one just for kicks a few years ago. I registered my vehicle on the web site to get some stupid free DVD for the current (at the time) Lexus Comercials, and it had a radio box to click for the owners manual. I clicked it and about a month later, the DVD and the owners manual just showed up in the mail. I don't know if they are still doing the owners manuals, but I did get the new DVD's for the 330 series cars that came out last year. Free stuff is always nice!

The way I understand it is that the website is a good way to update Lexus' records with your info even if you are the second or later owner. I recently purchased my sc400 from an individual, went to the site, typed my info and vin, and got a free manual in the mail. However, it does not get you a new leather holder or pen. It's nice having one in the car and one at the house for referrence.
