I need the Passenger side Cable that connects to the inside of the door handle to open from the OUTSIDE.. (not the one on the door panel itself)

Can you get a pic of the cable? I believe the outside door handle is connected by a rod that clips to it and not a cable, the inside handle is connected by a cable as well as the inside door lock. At least thats how my car was on the driver side. I have i think one or two cables from doing that job left over so if you can maybe snap a pic of the exact part you need i may have it. Thanks.

 

yeah its the rod. at the tip where it meets with the door handle mechanism has a plastic piece on it..that snapped.

do i have to change the whole rod or just get the plastic piece?

 

If it's just the plastic piece then that's all you need..$2 at Toyota dealership if the metal rod broke then you need a new door actuator
