FS: MKIII and MKIV W58 parts + transmission
Hey all,
I'm selling off a few parts from my ever-lingering W58 swap. I have decided to go with a MKIV unit instead of retrofitting the MKIII into the car.
I'm selling the following parts:
MKIII W58 transmission (no bell housing): $50
MKIII W58 tail shaft: $30
MKIV W58 tail shaft: $50
MKIV W58 extended tri-pod shifter: $50 (VERY hard to find, especially for cheap.)
MKIV W58 tail shaft shift piston: $10
Also: selling a Nakamichi head unit from my SC400. Just about perfect condition. Asking $50.

W58 Transmission is out of a MKIII. It will need one bearing replaced as I removed it as a part of fitting a MKIV tail shaft on to it. It shifted fine when I bought it.
The MKIV shifter will not come with the stainless short shifter pictured. That'll be going on the new transmission I pick up.
Selling everything now to pick up some TT or LS400 calipers. Willing to trade for these parts as well.

Furreal furreal, buy the whole kit and kaboodle, and I'll make someone a deal. The tri-pod shifter alone is selling for close to what I'm advertising everything at.
