The 96 ecu will work in a 97 auto right? Was the ecu in perfect working order prior to being pulled out?

I think so, as long it is a 300... It will be pulled off a running motor, so it should work perfectly.

Yes, i have a 97 sc300 auto. So when this car was driving did it ever have any problems going into overdrive?
