Also help keep minor wind shield cracks from spreading while taking high speed turns :-)
it basicaly stiffens up the front of the car to minimizes chassis flex

just confirmed today that it will fit sc400 even to 97 with the black plastic cover im not sure about 98+ with the vvti and suspension changes. but needs about a 3/8" spacer [double up the OEM black metal plates.] so it can clear the TB
