Default NEED w58 clutch alignment tool sc300

I bought a DF clutch and it didn't come with an alignment tool I went to all the parts stores in town and none of them can get them (they just come with the kits). I would just buy the whole kit and then return it with a slightly used tool but all the kits are special order and so that would be wrong. If someone has one hat they could send me that would be great. I would pay shipping and I would even send it back if you wanted. I need to change this out ASAP because it just kills me to have parts that are not on my car. Thanks

Can't you put the clutch onto the input shaft of the transmission and then put it into the block and tighten the bolts down that way? My friend did my clutch while I was at work but he didn't use an alignment tool.

Otherwise look for an ACT part # AT11. Retail is $5 on them.

I found one that I used 8 years ago on a 89 toyota 4x4. It looks like it will work I guess it does pay to hold on to extra jusk for years. Thanks I'm sure someone would have helped me out. I have changed a clutch without an alignment tool and all I can say is that it is alot easier with one.

Thanks

a broomstick will work, you just have to keep it aligned.

Also, a 95 maxima alignment tool works fine, splines line up and everything.
