Default WTB: LCA outer shells

i'm looking for an outer shell for the lower control arm bushing (both sides). i was about to install my lca bushings & found out that the control arm doesn't have the outer shell, it was just the rubber bushing & inner sleeve

pm me if you have any. thanks!

not sure what your referring to? Front or Rear? If you using the Daizen poly bushings they didn't need to reuse any parts from the oem set up. No shells bushing just pop in with lots of grease and new center spacer from Daizen if you ordered them with the kit. Other wise you would need to reuse your center spacers.

It's for the front. I bought the "prothane" bushings, but the manual said to reuse the outer shells from the old ones, the thing is, it didn't have any. I only found the rubber bushing and the center spacer. I saw some of the kits from daizen offer the outer shell as an option.

I see your point. My outer shell must have stayed in there when I burned out the bushings. Because I did not install nor receive the out shells. I just but the bushings in and they were already direct fit.

You good buy the Daizen kit with the shells or see if they would sell you just the shells. Or by new control arms to get the outer shell you get new ball joint as well. Even if you purchase used LCA with shell then you'll have old ball joint spend time getting the shell out nicely and puting back in.
