K guys , I just changed an altenator, and thermastat with gasket, air compressor and dryer, It all went well except for the fact that my engine (in neutral) now idels between 900rpm and surges to 2000 rpm every 3 seconds, I suspected the Idel positioning sensors, there is a main and a back up. That change out did not effect the surging idel. Can sombody suggest somthing ? ever had this happen before?

I would appriciate any help.
