Default WTT: TT Brakes for NA Brakes + cash

As most of you know I recently bought Jon (lex luthors) car. Anyways, I need to get these TT brakes off the car and get stock brakes back on so I can fit on the correct tires I want for the track.

Hopefully someone near, or possibly in Chicago since my car will be back up at SP within the next couple of months, so they could be swapped then.

I am looking for your brakes + labor (I'm too lazy to take them off my car or put the new ones on it) + $250 for my TT calipers, slotted rotors, and relatively low mileage (<5k miles) pads. Just need to get this setup with someone, and really someone in Chicago would be easiest so SP could take off my brakes and put on the new NA ones

I'm close enough to Chicago to do it, but what will the labor cost be?

SP is the shop that works on my car. Any shop can do it, I just always feel more comfortable with a shop that I have worked with before. Where are you in Kansas?

I am in Hutchinson; It’s about 3 hours from KC Missouri. Where in Missouri are you located? Are you looking for stock Lexus brakes or is “NA” actually different Supra brakes? I have a 97 SC400 with Stock brakes; it may not be what you are looking for. I am very interested in your Brakes however so LMK if you are interested and we will see if we can work out the details.

Stock NA Supra brakes or SC300 brakes are the same, and I think the 400 as well but I am not positive on that one. I live in KC. Do you have a shop in Hutchinson or something?

I do most of my own work, at home, Brakes are not a real big deal to do so I think its something we could do ourselves. I have done anything from complete engine swaps too twin turbo charging a vehicle from ground up. My garage is fully equipped with all the tools we need. I think we could handle it, If you still are not comfortable with that then I could contact my cousin, He has been the manager of the Hutchinson Midas for the last 15 years so he definitely has the experience and knowledge to do it professionally. LMK and I will see what kind of deal he would make us.

BTW will these fit with 18” wheels?

Depending on if you wheels have the correct offset there should be no problem with fitment.

Please punctuate your post so I can understand what you are trying to say. It seems you say there is no way the transaction could be done, yet you are asking questions. I can't make any sense of this.

You could probably make a post in the wheels subforum and get a solid answer.
