Hey all, I'm putting my 92 SC300 up for sale yet again. I just can't afford the payment and insurance on two vehicles right now. Currently, I still owe about $6600 on the car. I would like to get that, because I really don't want to be paying on a car I no longer own. But, if you can make me a decent offer, I'll take it.
Ok, stats on the car:
1992 SC300, 5spd, inline 6 cyl, 148k miles. Body still in very nice condition, as well as the interior. Color is spruce silver, with tan interior. There is normal wear and tear on the leather, but very, very minor. No big rips or blemishes in the leather. Ugliest part is the top of the steering wheel. Front driver's headlight has moisture inside, the seal between the glass and the back is bad. Needs new rear tires also.
Just had a LOT of maint done to the car. New cam and crank seals, front and rear main seals, new distributor, plug wires, plugs, new clutch throwout bearing, rearend housing filled and sealed, new harmonic dampener. Have new radiator hoses and t-stat ready to go in, just haven't had time to put them in.
Things it needs: Brake rotors are warped. They still stop the car, just the car shakes under hard braking pressure. Smells like the car is running very rich, and I believe this is causing the hesitation on startup. I also think the cat might be clogged. A/C needs a pound of coolant, and I don't know if it's r-134a or the old stuff.
