I'm getting an AC kit later this month (already bought it, just waiting on shipment), and when I have it painted I'm going to have the paint shop shoot the inside of the turn signals.
Should have pics in a month or so...

Hah! That's hillarious. I just came to the same conclusion a month ago. Last summer I painted the turn signals on my Eclipse a transparent red to match the color of the car. I'd been trying to figure out a way to get my turn signals to shine orange through the red for a while (looks kinda dumb rith red lights up front...and it's illegal, though I don't think anyone cares). It wan't until I read through this thread about making your own sidemarkers and painting the background that it hit me.

The car is platinum, so it won't look much different than a regular clear signal on a platinum car, but I'm hoping it just blends in with the body that much more.
