what did you guys use to keep the bulb from hitting the lens. i tried puttin the bulb into the sidemarker and it would not fit, so i had to pull the lens off and now i need to put something there to space it out. What did yall use and how did it turn out...conspicuous or not?

 

Anyone else having a problem with the bulb not fitting???

 

Mine looks like it touches the inside of the lens, but it still stays in place and lights up fine

 

well i put some clear double-sided tape on the ends and then attached the lens. Then i put clear adhesive silicone to attach and seal it. You cant notice the double sided tape unless you are close(a few feet), but overall it turned out ok, since im not too picky. Cant really notice the tape unless you are focusing on the sidemarker. The tape gave just enough clearance to fasten the bulb into the sidemarker.

 

That's odd that you had to do that, are you using a 168 or 194 bulb? Or other?

The post office was closed for the day by the time they were ready so these go out tomorrow morning. Sorry for the delay, but this batch of covers is flawless and I now have a solid polycarbonate template for future reference. I think it was worth the wait for the template, and my offer still stands for previous generation sidemarker buyers! Those who have PayPal'd up to this point will have orders coming...
