He says the remote start and the top module is done and good to go. Car is still in pieces. Quarter window mod is up next tomorrow. The $300 he quoted me is WAY too low since this is taking him A LOT extra time. I'm going to pay him more $$$ because my initial price inside my head was way more.

He was willing to let it go for $300 but I didn't feel right taking his time today and tomorrow too. I do want to come back here after this for other non dealer approved installs. So... please don't expect JP Importz to be doing it for $300.

I'm sporting a Toyota Land Cruiser as a loaner. It's huge if anyone has seen me in real life (I'm only 5'5" / 5'6" on a good day).

Good on ya! I always pay for what I get when good service is involved.

When Steve first installed Luxlink on my SC in June 08, he charged me $320. Of course, his time was reduced since he had already installed so many units by then. I paid $350 for the unit back then as well, so my total was $670.

Hi John,

When I talked to Steve earlier this year, he said that he would do an install for $350.

I know Jerry... Wish I had a doppelganger so I could get away! I used to live in the SF Bay Area from '88-'99. Have many friends in SoCal too. I will move back there one day. Til then, I guess I will wait til next weekend to get my LLink done! Whoo Hoo!

CA is nice except when they get earthquakes like yesterday. It was a small one though.
