Default Another BBK Spare tire option!!

What's up guys? There's very little spare tire options out there for those that have upgraded their brakes to a BBK. I've previously run an Infiniti G37 rim as my spare but have recently come across a better/different option. It's the spare from a Turbo Genesis Coupe that comes from factory with Brembo brakes, the spare is a 19' rim however I still had to run a small spacer to clear my fronts though which is no big deal as it's only temporary if I get a flat tire. Excuse my cell phone pics..

The genesis spare looks better than half of the rim pictures posted on the SC forums lol.

Looks like an oversized honda civic HX wheel! I agree with Tabaka. Certainly looks better than a lot of wheels here on CL.

I use a full size LS400 wheel as a spare. Fits in the trunk spot perfect and is made to clear my brakes

Not to mention they are cheap, easier to find and you don't have to run a spacer.

Yea the idea is to not have to use a spacer to clear the brakes.

This is for the aftermarket bbk setup , the LS wheel will not clear those brembos so the Genesis wheel is a great option. But seriously what's wrong with running a spacer just to get home in case you have a flat?

Were are talking about spare tire, and some are talking about why they will not buy a BBK and why it's not worth the hassle!??? really.

Haha calm down! Oh and the ISF spare would probably clear with no spacer. Oh and the issue with the spacer, if it's bigger than a 5mm, is that you better be running extended studs. Spare wheel or not, I'd rather be safe than have the wheel held on by 3 threads of the stud.
