ATTENTION ::::: Offsite links listed here prohibited:::::
Our policy has been in place since about 2005 on offsite car sales ads, and enforced many of the years. It's becoming summer and everyone and their brother is selling their cars and buying *whatever*.
In just the last 4 days we have had 5 "Look at this car being sold" threads. If you intend to post such a thread either for buying advice or otherwise, attach the picture of it, and whatever description to help persons give you the buying advice you need, but NO OFFSITE LINKS to craigslist, autotrader, ebay, whatever.
It is unfortunate that persons tend to abuse the privilege of putting their friends up to posting cars for them instead of the proper classifieds route, but we've stopped this for many years and with the summer onset it's becoming an issue we will enforce more at this time.
Threads in violation will be edited or deleted at random discretion.

costs $xx,xxx dollars
"more info on the vehicle, minus specific contact info"

Since it is becoming an issue lately links that are disguised as other links, http://woobox.com/ for instance which are promotional links to facebook contests of vendors, and any link that goes to a promotional off site contest is considered spam. These links require you to register and/or "like" the business to vote or enter. This is blatant spam. Please do not do it.

It's become more frequent lately that threads are being posted without links, but giving you every other piece of information you need. This is simply trying to go around a rule and we do not accept that. Please do not attempt to drive traffic to any site where a vehicle is being sold for any reason off of club Lexus thank you.
