so i wanna remove my apillars and the only thing stopping it is the grip handles which i cant seem to slide them off ? anyone know specifically how to do it ? pics would help alot

 

bump....I'm wanting to do the same but can't get those damn things off.

 

i have no pics but you have to lift up each end of the handles outer skin and it will expose metal sliding clips. each end is slightly different.

one end you lift up a clip and the other you slide off. so then get a flat head screwdriver and lift the end that has a small little clip in the center to release it.

once released, slide that particular end off (clip side) and then you can slide the other end off in the other direction with ease.

after the handle is released, all you have to do is tug on the a-pillar to release clips.

 

Yeah those handles can be tricky, I was just messing around with them one day and my passenger one came right off. Thought I broke it at first!

 

I do sound systems for myself and my friends. Let me tell you there are way to many "oh *****, did I just break that very important, very noticible if missing, impossible to superglue, and most likely expensive trim piece!?" moments in my life LOL. 99% of the time it's a false alarm thank god!
