Default Sc300 Power Mirrors... Not Working! (did search, nothing)

Well i bought the car knowing the power mirrors did not work, both of them, i figured it was a fuse issue and i didnt mind cause i was going to check later. Anyways, I just checked the fuse (10A) under the kick panel and it was still good. Anyone have similar problems with this, can someone help me out?

Prob. connected to the memory seats and mirrows. Also it is not that easy to replace.

I had the same problem. Found a mirror ECU on Ebay and won the bid for about $3. Got lucky I guess. Getting the old ECU out is a really big pain in the butt (one attachment point is VERY hard to get to). I ended up attaching the new one to the old one. Has worked fine for months.

I'd go through Ebay (might be hard to find one) or a junkyard. Should be able to find one quite easily and definitely for much less than $200.

You might be able to pick one up from the guy who just totalled his car (recent posting)....

Good luck!
Jon

One thing though, but have you popped off the switch trim off the door to check if the plug connector for the mirror control is securely attatched?

I just bought a power mirror ecu from a local junkyard, $35 anyways, i tried taking off the old one, which was hell, i got the first bolt off, but couldnt reach the second screw, which is somewhere behind the dashboard and i dont know what to take off to get to it. so, i just zip tied my new one to my old one. just make sure it doesnt get in the way of the top of the gas pedal, i didnt know this at first and it was hitting it when i pressed on the gas, so i had to re-tie it and move it to the side. when i have more free time and a little less lazy, i will take off the panel under the steering wheel to get the second bolt out and take off the old ecu. is that where the second bolt is located at?
