lol, oh man... I'm SOOOO glad my car CAME with the silver package and not the gold .

 

Big thumbs up! I've been wanting to buy the black chrome emblems for $115 for a while now. I'd wondered about taking my golds off and painting them as you did. Looks pretty clean. I'm gonna try it.

 

hehe.. my car was green, but the previous owner painted it black.. (good thing)
but their was gold emblems ew...
so i had to switch them all out to silver.. even the caps on the 97+ rims..

 

NRG - I also have a green SC that came with emblems that had been painted black. I converted everything to chrome and switched over to the alloy GS400 wheels. Such an improvement. The black emblems kinda gave it a stealth look though.

However, I do have a full set of previously gold - now painted black emblems - for a 93 SC400 if anyone is interested.

All except for the SC and the 300 emblems had alignment holes.

Well, we've seen gold, chrome, and black on the white SC's, but I don't think anyone has done WHITE emblems on a white SC. Hmm...

 

I wonder about a charcoal-ish kind of color, otherwise go black. Trust me, I know everything .
