Anyone have any experience with one of these kits on an SC?

I've seen a few clips of them on facebook. looks really good. The company has been extremely responsive to everything I've inquired on answering basically instantly. Pretty sure you want to use 95 housings with them, and whatever lens you want. They have a group you can join on fb if you make an order, where people will give you ideas/advice on wiring / assembly etc.

If you or anyone else gives them a go w/ SC tails and documents it along the way, that would be great. I've got a spare set of 98 tails already apart that I'm in the middle of de-chroming and making fully red. I was just going to slap them together as-is and put LED bulbs behind them, but this looks like a great mid-point solution between doing that and dropping $1k+ on a ready-to-go custom set.

I purchased their DIY kit for the 95-96 tails, been watching a ton of their how-to YouTube videos but have yet to sit down and try it.

I also received a deal I couldn't refuse so I'm waiting for a custom 97-00 set that I'll debut once I get it in the next month.

I'll keep an eye out
you should record your progress if you think about it

the customs happen to be the dechromed oem 97 set I've been seeing for sale by chance?

No, these 97+ tails are using the C diffused style kit from illumaesthetic but with a few upgrades that haven't been done before on the SC.

Were these built by illumaesthetic, by someone using one of their kits exclusively or by someone who modified one of their kits? The C-diffused style for the 97+ tails is what I was going to be going with. The only modification I was going to make was to change the amber to red, but I'm very keen to see what was done on your set.

Please keep us updated!

These are built by one of their referred builders, it uses their diffused C panel and different LEDs and custom reverse. Full details soon!

Interested to see the progress. I had considered this same kit but I felt like the LED’s were too small and made the lights look a little in the cheap side. Most OE’s today are using larger LED’s which are a bit pricier

Eager to see what you’ve come up with!
