Hey guys, hoping for some help here. Does anyone know if the driver’s seat can be manually moved down? I just got the car and press down and nothing happens, figured it was all the way down. But, I then started playing with it and went up a touch and then tried going back down and it won’t go down. So, my 6’2” self is squeezing into the drivers seat and it’s making the car uncomfortable to drive.

I know you can manually wind a gear to move the seat forward and backward, but my searches came up blank for up or down. Any help would be appreciated!

I’ve since bought a used seat and harvested the motors off it. I haven’t got around to changing them out but that’s the solution I think. Nobody has any information to lower it manually.

Let me know if that fixes the problem. My 300 won’t go up or down at all. Hoping a seat motor fixes it (do 300 and 400 models use the same seat motors?)

 

I’ll do my best. Seat motors are the same, seats are the same.
