Looks absolutely awesome, 2.5tsoarer!

As for me, I've got 18's on mine, because I couldn't afford the 19's and I hate Sydney roads.

Any rubbing problems? Did you have to roll the fenders?

2.5tsoarer 11-03-03 07:04 AM

theirs plenty of room in the front, m using 235 40 19, but Im going with 245 or 255 40 19 when theses runn out. Now as for the rear I have 275 30 19 and had the fenders rolled just in case. But never rubbing even with car full.

What offset are you running front and rear?
Thanks,
John

2.5 i have that setting on my rear and i have no rubbing. i'm gonna try to go 295 next on my 9.5 inch rim lol.

2.5tsoarer 11-04-03 06:40 AM

I think I have 46+ front offset and 37+ rear.
I dont really like the look of putting a really wide tire on a narrow wheel.
275 is for 10" rim and your installing 295 and 9.5" ? thats more for the mullet sporting camaro crowd I think. You might as well paint the tire letters white. Just Kidding.

mrshabo 11-04-03 07:33 AM

lol there isn't that much difference betweeen 275 and 295 in my book =x. 275 is best for 9.5 rims. i think 285-295 is best for 10's. my friend has a 10 inch rim and his 275s curve in way too much.

SC400TT 11-06-03 08:15 AM

I have altstadt Type 1 wheels, 18x8.5 in front, and 18x9.5 in the rear. Never any rubbing. Ride very well and handle excellently!! They will look even better after I install the TEIN FLEX Coilovers and lower the car.

They are clean wheels. Not enough 'bling' for me though. I think a mesh wheel goes much better on a SC. Not bad, but rather "ho-hum."
