Driver's Seat Sliding Forward?
All:
As you probably know, the passenger seat will slide forward automatically when you tilt the seat. This to better allow entry and exit of the occasional passenger. Yesterday, I was putting my dog in the car to take her hiking. I usually had put her in the passenger side, but this time put her in via the driver's side. She had to kind of squeeze to get in, as the seat didn't slide forward. I looked underneath the seat as much as I could and didn't see any wires disconnected.
My question is this. Does only the passenger seat slide forward? I did search and found the owner's manual, which doesn't say anything about the driver's seat. I also found this thread: Passenger Seat Question - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion

The curb side passenger seat is considered the safe side for loading and unloading
children (two and four legged!) because it doesn't open into a traffic lane.

Thank you both! I was wondering if my car had some age-related issue.
