Angry Wheel pretty much fell off while driving the other night

After a month of owning her something goes wrong. I was driving and the upper ball joint pretty much came completely undone (cotter pin backed out followed by the nut, you know the rest) I'm just happy i wasn't going faster- i got pretty lucky. Anyway, lexus wants about 350 bucks for a new upper control arm (supposedly you cant just get the ball joint?? is this true?) I'm wondering if there is somewhere that i can find it cheaper, or if the supra one will fit. The mechanic said it won't.. but it doesn't seem like it wouldn't. Anyway, please post your input, and thanks for your time

Zac

I know the lower arm is the same as the supra, not positive about the upper.
Perhaps you could get one from a local Toyota dealer and size it up?
