Default lower control arm ball joint

Hey guys,

I checked my lower control arm ball joint (front) and all the grease has slid out and onto the arm.

I tried the 9 and 3 test as well as the 12 and 6 test and there is no play.

Should I just replace the bushings, or do I need to replace the arm?

Also, how would I regrease the ball joint?

Also, I removed the nut and pin for the upper arm ball joint stud and it wont slide out. How do I get this out?

Thanks guys,

ball joints really can't be greased without a zerk fitting which our cars don't have (trucks usually do). That ball join may be okay for now but seeing as the boot is ruptured it could be contaminated or will be in the near future which will kill ball joints.

As for removing the stud usually a well placed smack of the hammer on the control arm or the spindle will knock it loose. Don't smack the ball joint stud unless you plan on ditching the upper ball joint.
