I have to pull up very hard on the driver side window lever to get the window to roll up. I suspect that the contacts need to be cleaned. Do I have to take off the door panel to remove the master switch or can the unit be popped out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

It's very easy. Just pull up on the front edge of the switch, then slide the unit forward and up. I used a flat screwdriver to gently pry it up. Two connectors and it detaches. You actually have to take the switch out *before* you remove the door panel.
