SC300 just shuts off while driving
My ‘95 SC300 has been having some performance issues. My buddy is working on it right now and he just replaced some gaskets, spark plugs, and repaired ECU. Apparently after it has been driving for some time, the car just shuts off completely while driving. He said he was able to start it back up again after it did. He said the electrics also shut off (dash, power steering etc). Was wondering if it was a problem with the fuel pump like another person said it might be, but wouldn’t the battery keep the dash and everything else on? My friend says it drives great other than when it just shuts off.
