Default 95 sc300 problems

I just bought this car a few weeks ago saying it runs and drives. Fast forward a few weeks and the car wont start at all. It has a weird issue that just got worse. First time it happend was on the highway. The car just shut down, engine was still running and I could still shift ( manual w58 swapped) but it wouldnt go anywhere. Engine would not rev, it would not move. Cut it off and back on and I'm fine, I keep my pace at 60 to 70mph. Second time was at a Wawa. After filling the tank car wouldnt start. When I did get it to start I had to keep the rpms high to keep it going. It died two more times before I got it home. Next day drained the tank put new gas and ran fine. Its died two more times since then. Now it will crank, run, die, no longer than a few seconds. Sometimes it has no throttle response it will die immediately. Or the throttle cuts out after reving a few times. I think I described the issue as best I could. I will be testing fuel pressure tomorrow but I think its a faulty ecu. Any input helps

Sounds like you are on the right path. Since it is always hard to diagnose on just a quick paragraph my first thoughts in order are:
  • ECU
  • Fuel pump ecu
  • Fuel pump
  • Two wire coolant sensor connection or sensor bad
  • Voltage issue
  • Distributor issue
