Default Under body rust: How much is too much?

I live in the south, salt induced rust just isn't something we deal with around here. I'm looking at an SC400 in a northern city and wanted some opinions about the underside of the car. According to the service history it was a Florida car until at least 2007 before it went north at some point. This car is about a 12hr drive away so I don't want to waste the trip on something that is going to be a problem down the road.

I'd pass man, if that was me. I purchased a SC4 here in Chicago, I plan on moving back to So Cal. Hopefully it doesnt turn out like this.

The money on this didn't work out. It's hard to finance a 22 year old car, especially when they insist on tacking on an $800 dealer fee that's another 15% on top of being over book on the car.

No reason to pay a dealer fee on anything, especially not a car under $8k

Default Ohio 2013 GS 450h underbody rust

Found a wonderful gs 450h in great condition except for underbody rust from NW Ohio winters. Lexus tech said this will spread and could be costly even though it’s minor now. Would you take a chance given what you see in these pics? 131k.

Lexus tech said they have to soak rusted bolts to get them off and it can lead to damaging subframe. I live in Western NC where winter rust is never a problem.
