The transmission itself will cost you anywhere from 500-1800 bucks I'm guessing. With the trans swap, you will need change over to a longer drive shaft and you want to get a Supra TT rear end also to make things easier. That's all I really know. But use the Search button, it works wonders on this site.

I believe the tranny will cost closer to $2300-$3000.

You are correct. Lets not forget about another 1000 for a clutch and flywheel setup, plus driveshaft, rear-end, etc.

PHR charges $5000 and i don't think thats too bad of a deal. If you did it all yourself, hunted down all the cheapest parts, it would cost you like $3800/min.

I've done the swap and it ran $5k. That's for parts only. I did all the installation meaning that a swap from a tuner will run a *whole* lot more.

PHR's price has been brought up before. I've delt with Jarret in the past. You'll *never* get a full 6-speed swap for $5k.

I haven't been on their site for a while, but i always thought that $5k was low for that upgrade. I got my 6 speed + lsd + driveshaft all with my clip which i paid $6k for. If your gonna do the getrag swap, you might as well spend 5k on a clip and if you dont want the motor, sell it along with all the other little parts for about $3500 and essentially get the trans and stuff for $1500.

I've talked to Jarrett numerous times. He usually goes by the "going rate" of items with might be 5K total or more than 5K. Everyone should know by now his prices aren't always set in stone on used parts.
