Describe what kind of louvers... There are SC drift cars and race cars all over the internet with various types of vents and scoops. It's certainly do able, but the things that work on 240's such as universal dmax hood vents and things of the like tend to stick out like a sore thumb on these cars.

Probably would look rather 70's Firebird like if you did install rear window louvers. There are custom manufacturers of them, and if you took your car to them you can get them made for enough money. Probably either in plastic or aluminum. The way the rear window is set in the.car it would allow for it. Sure would keep the sun from cooking the back seat, but the look would take some getting used to.

Louvers can look really good on late 60's, 70's and some 80's cars. They're a great vehicle era-specific style choice. For SC's I've never seen the modified scene embrace them though. The lines of an SC are so curvy but most cars that work well with louvers had at least a few ridges and/or creases in their designs. 1969-1971 and 1977-81 Firebirds, 1969-70 and 71-73 and 74-78 and 79-93 Mustangs and 80's IROC-Z Camaros for instance. DeLoreans, 70's-80's Lotus Esprits, '70(?) DeTomaso Mangustas, the 70's Celica Liftback "Mini Mustang", etc.
But on SC's the very curved lines wouldn't mix well with the angular, rigidly horizontal slats of rear window louvers. The Calty designers really went all out to create a shape that broke the design trends that incidentally happened to be more compatible with rear louvers.
Stretching a bit, you could also say the same of the very curvy Infiniti J30 sedan competitors of the same era. The lines on that car, like the 91-00 SC/Soarer, go in a totally different design language direction than the era that louvers came from.
Louvers can be really cool. I like them a lot on certain cars, even some new ones like the current Mustangs, Camaros an Challengers. But other than an aftermarket rear window deflector I've seen on some SC/Soarers I've never seen louvers available from anyone.
