Default Best place to buy oem parts for 98 SC400?

I was wondering if there was a go to place to buy oem parts for a 98 SC400? Who has the best prices when ordering online? Is there anyone on the forums that provides a discount for members (kind of line Elmhurst Toyota does on Supraforums)?

,Scott

I’d check vendors in the for sale section, dealers on line like Sewel Lexus that offers discounts for cl members, at least I thought they did.

Gotcha. I buy brand new, OEM engine parts on ebay all day long, much cheaper than other places I've used in the past.

I have bought a few OEM parts from a few Lexus dealerships that had eBay stores.

I've purchased a number of oem items on ebay from Lexus and non Lexus Dealers (maybe resellers?)

Here are a couple that I've used and have been happy with.

Complete headlight assemblies there are only 5 left, complete fogs are discontinued, but you can still buy the housings (I think there are 7 left). I bought both of them back in August/September. Also, if you order the headlights, remember to order the seal/gaskets since it doesn't come with them.

These are the sites I use, no discounts, but their pricing is competitive.

I've owned a 4Runner, 94 Toyota Truck, GS300, SC300 and now own a RX400H and my trusty 95 Taco. For about 10 years, I've exclusively bought my OEM Lex/Toy parts from Gulf Freeway Lex/Toyota in Houston in the link below. Their parts are about 35% less than a dealer if you just walked into your local dealer. They charge about $4 per oil filter and I usually get about 4-5 every time I order so I don't run out. Yes, I currently have quan 5 of the 90915-YZZD3 oil filters in my garage - I use them in my taco and lex even though they're larger (longer) than the "D1" filter.

I've never had an issue with any order and they always pick up the phone if I ever had to call. Funny, they have many of the same people working there now who were there 10 years ago.

BTW, I've never lived in Houston and I think I found out about them from this forum a long while ago.

I always shop around, look for who has the best price with shipping among mylparts.com, toyotapartsdeal, lexus of south atlanta, etc. Sometimes ebay like others have mentioned. Just depends on what it is.
