Default Trying to find my old SC

Hey everyone,

It's been quite a while since I've been on the boards. I reluctantly sold my '95 SC4 a few years back and am attempting to locate it and buy it back.

The car is unique in that it's the Teal Mist metallic color ('95 only) and at the time I sold it, had 18" Saleen rep wheels, aftermarket suspension, exhaust, 97+ tails, tint, etc. The driver's front fender was wrapped in satin black as I'd replaced the damaged original with a red one. For long-term members, you'll possibly know the car or at least recognize it if you saw it. This was my first car in high school and was the bane of existence for several of my GFs when I was young. I took who-knows how many road trips in it, rescued my now 9 year old puppy in it, learned how to wrench, obsessed over it... Basically, if I were able to find it now I'd do everything I could to buy it back.

I was able to track down the VIN from my insurance provider. I'm hoping that maybe someone on the forums knows the owner (I have texted the person I sold it to but I'm not so sure he'll still have it). VIN is JT8UZ30C7S0040404 and I sold it in the Spring of 2015. Last I knew, it was going to live somewhere in a Gulf state (AL, FL, LA...) The buyer was a military guy name Brandon or Brennan. I have a buddy with a dealership running a report on his end to find out where it's currently tagged (if she's not dead yet).

Pic from around the time that I sold it:

Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

I can confirm the car was last registered in Warner Robbins, GA back in March.

So, if you're in WR, GA and this car looks familiar, shoot me a PM!

FWIW, I did hear back from the buyer I sold it to and he still has the car!

This thread can be locked up. Thanks to those who stopped by to look.

Your car is in California now, I remember buying a 5 speed shifter bezel off of the current owner. It was still registered in Georgia when I saw the car.

Even managing to locate your old car is something that is often very difficult or impossible-- congratulations and I hope you can buy it back!
