Default The elusive MDX mod ...

I’ve seen it suggested; I’ve heard it talked about; however up to this point I still haven’t seen someone realize it.

Has anyone ever actually done this retrofit?
If so, can somebody post pics please?
I’m planning on doing it, but I wanna be certain it’ll look as good as I imagine. I’m trying to make my SC appear more contemporary.

Thanks!

Highly doubt anyone would be able to chime in on this as the only ones who successfully done this mod was OG and they used TSX led lights... according to them ALOT of trimming and molding was involved

Well, one thing's for sure if you wanna do it right, the projectors are not gonna fit in the SC casings. The projectors are altogether mounted on an angle to provide a level light output, that alone is a deal breaker. Mounting them flat would look like a Sith and a Jedi lightsaber dueling. Then it comes with huge heat sinks in the back, no way José. And we tested if those huge heat sinks were relative enough to the LEDs, and that darn thing gets hot enough to cook bacon within 30mins. The only way we did right, was fuse the TSX projector casing with the SC casing(or what's left of it after enough cutting). Great thing about this method, is we were able to maintain the adjustability of the light focus. Then we custom molded the missing parts to seal everything together. We used rivets to fuse both casings because another problem we encountered was the casings being too flimsy just glued together. And a heap ton of automotive industrial grade RTV was used to ensure 0 water seepage. Oh, the wiring was such a mess to make work too. We used a total of 3 modules and 3 different wiring harnesses to lace everything together and keep everything plug-n-play to the stock plugs.

We matched it up with a 3" square HID projector as well for a fluid look and to get the best of both worlds.

Here's the high res photos of the work, the pricing reflects all parts utilized of course:*https://www.organizedgaragestatus.co...ge/1sctlxledpr

I have them in my sc .The jewels are big for the housing and you will have to cut a lot in the back.

How do I see a list of the different designs and retrofits you do, with pricing? I have looked over your website so many times, and can not figure it out. Thanks
