Just curious, since turning on the headlights dims the dash panel a little, I was wondering if it helps if you turn on your headlights all the time to help the instrument cluster from going (breaking)?

Any thought on this?

Thanks.

Have you checked your Dashlight fluids lately? while your at it make sure your Blinker fluid and flux capasitor is changed... This will prolong the life of not only your dash lights, but also your Hoverguard and transfluximulating system.

Good luck

Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate the info.

SC3.0: Is there really such thing as dashlight fluid? How do I check this?

My dashboard was replaced about 2 years ago so I really want to keep it in perfect condition.

Thanks again.

Sorry for my ignorance. I didn't mean to ask stupid questions like this. I've been modifying my BMW for the past 8 years and I know nothing about these Toyota cruisers. As far as I know, European cars do not have dashboards like the SCs do.

By saying no comment, you were implying....?

I'm on my original dash still and I drive with my parking lights on. 1) for safety, 2) to prolong the needles life (knocks on dash).

PS, there is no dash-light fluid and don't believe anybody if they tell you to change the air in your tires every 3 months or 3000 miles.

Thanks for the clarification.

I guess I am not old enough to get some of the jokes from certain members on this board.

I appreciate it.

Sorry about that.... I get carried away sometimes..

BTW: Hes right, don't let anyone tell you to change the air in your tires every 3000 miles, but it would be a smart thing to Rotate the Air every 7000 miles (or as stated in your Lexus handbook).

Thanks

Very funny guys.

But it's all good. I guess we all need some humor at work.
