Hey guys I tried searching to see if there was a thread that existed for all of us with hard tops. If not, would there be interest in the CL community to start one?

 

It can't hurt. I'm sure if you started one it would grow. Just look at how detailed the 97 manual list has gotten since it was started.

 

A thread for Hard Tops would be cool. How many were made and what years came with HTs.?

Interesting, I didn't think you could buy these cars in the US without a sunroof. I've heard of a few cars coming with cloth seats or without heated seats, but I thought the sunroof was standard. I know on a lot of Hondas/Acuras, you were forced into a sunroof on certain trim levels(EX on Hondas). My 1992 SC300 has the 5 speed, but all the interior options you could think of like the sunroof, leather, heated seats, CD changer, premium sound, power telescoping/tilt wheel, memory seats.

Options I wish it had were the SC400's bigger 16" wheels/bigger brakes, not sure if you could get the SC400 front lip, side skirts and rear spoiler on an SC300, kind of depends on the year as to those exterior options.
